- Get caught in snowstorm while driving a car with zero winter traction tires, and spend 4+ hours only to make it halfway to a destination normally four hours from starting point.
- Pullover and get a hotel room thanks to parental hotel points.
- Sleep on and off for 3 hours as three people in a full size uncomfortable pullout sofa bed.
- Wake up at 5am while still dark and get back on road.
- Go through two states and hit more winter driving conditions in final state.
- Have moment of panic as you spend 10 minutes trying to roll up a faulty car window during moderate snowfall.
- Reach destination and have glorious ski day.
- Sleep for 11 hours.
- Pack car.
- Pull out of driveway at 1pm and drive onto main route.
- Flat tire.
- Call AAA and every tire warehouse in southern Vermont area.
- Locate tire, drive to tire dealer, replace tire.
- Begin trip home at 5pm.
But it was totally worth it!
